Description:

Penn's campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity is hosting its first annual Shantytown event! Habitat chapters around the world host Shantytown events to promote awareness and learning about homelessness, the need for affordable housing, and what Habitat is doing to alleviate this problem. Join us for a couple of hours to advocate for putting an end to homelessness around the world.

WHY should you join us?
- HOUSE BUILDING COMPETITION!! (cardboard/supplies provided)
- FREE food and prizes! (possibly s'mores!)
- Learn more about and advocate for stopping homelessness

DONATION of $5 per person requested. All proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity! Money can be paid on Friday at the event itself. Habitat t-shirts will also be on sale for $5!
